I’ve done a few tests over the years so I thought it might be fun to put them together and do a bit of analysis.
While I’m sure that I have a place some-where on some-spectrum, I tend to avoid identifying myself with any psychiatric labels as I certainly don’t have any debilitating personality traits or behavioural disorders and haven’t needed to get any medical prescriptions.
I haven’t looked into the data but the prevalence of ADHD-type behaviour in recent generations feels especially high (I am no exception), perhaps a topic to investigate in a future blog post. Some of my family members strongly exhibit cluster B traits but they seem absent in me. If the results below are anything to go by I seem to lean into cluster A disorders, nothing to worry about though :)

I went from being INFP-T in 2020 to ENFP-T in 2024. Both are quite descriptive of me I think, but also don’t read too much into it, the Myers–Briggs is notorious for being vague and kinda useless. To quote wikipedia:
“The test relies on the Barnum effect, flattery, and confirmation bias, leading participants to personally identify with descriptions that are somewhat desirable, vague, and widely applicable.[5] As a psychometric indicator, the test exhibits significant deficiencies, including poor validity, poor reliability, measuring supposedly dichotomous categories that are not independent, and not being comprehensive.[6][7][8][9] Most of the research supporting the MBTI's validity has been produced by the Center for Applications of Psychological Type, an organization run by the Myers–Briggs Foundation, and published in the center's own journal, the Journal of Psychological Type (JPT), raising questions of independence, bias and conflict of interest.[10]”

Restricted affectivity 19% --> 19%
Callousness 10% --> 12%
Intimacy avoidance 11% --> 11%
Anhedonia 13% --> 4%
Large increases in both my anxiety and emotional instability (which now takes top spot) reflects the trend I have seen in myself over the past few years, although these have also been significantly exacerbated by uni stress/exams and being generally exhausted recently. Significant decreases in suspiciousness, manipulativeness, antagonism (with all already had low values, as well as hostility and callousness), evidence that I have probably become a more socially trustworthy / less cynical person. Nonetheless my withdrawal score also increased significantly - my social batteries are quite drained at the moment and I have become increasingly more comfortable being alone I think.
In light of all this it is worth highlighting that this sort of test probably has significant daily variability, depending heavily on what sort of mood you are in at the time of answering. Would be curious to answer it once daily or weekly and take a moving average.

This one just seems like a strictly worse version of the PID-5, I included some of my old test scores for completeness anyway.

i.e. I am probably not very autistic.

I’m skeptical of this one, the questions are vague and there aren’t many of them.

IQ tests are complete rubbish take these results with large quantities of salt.
“Scores are set so that the average is 100. There is controversey about how IQ scores should be broken down, this test uses the 3 domains from Hampshire, Highfield, Parkin and Owen (2012) of (1) Short-Term Memory, (2) Reasoning, and (3) Verbal. This model seems to fit best on internet populations.”
Results shown below were taken on 30/07/2021, 24/11/2022, 18/05/2024, respectively. I seem to have a consistent score around 130.

I enjoyed this test, the questions were unambiguous and well-discerning. Below results are form 22/07/2021 and 19/05/2024, respectively.
I wrote of this test, in 2021, “I think the majority of people will take advantage of you if you let them, I don’t think its a lifetrap, just that you have to be careful and aware.” I was more cynical back then, this is also reflected in my PID-5 results above.
The test also gives the following commentary:
Damn. Well, it certainly feels somewhat exaggerated, and I am rarely like this (my behaviour in social situations seems to be quite variable in general), but sometimes things really do feel like this I guess.
There is a huge quantity of political ‘-values’ and IDRlabs tests and I’m not bothered enough to do most of them.
My results show surprisingly high political consistency! There have undeniably been a number of changes to my political stance over this time period, the shift in my political compass reflects them better than the 8values results. Specifically, I have become even less nationalistic, more sympathetic towards economic government intervention (mostly as a resolving force for problems of collective action), more sympathetic towards both intercultural mixing and cultural assimilation (go figure!), more acutely aware of the problems of representative democracy and the horrors of bureaucratic nightmares, but nonetheless I remain vehemently socially liberal, anti-reactionary and anti-authoritarian.

More silly tests!

I would love to do an extended blog post going through this survey at some point, would be a lot of fun!

This test is… completely ridiculous. The only thing it actually measures is how hungry you are. Also unhealthy food = ‘lower class food’ apparently?!? Tests below were taken on and 19/05/2024, respectively.

I hate this test probably even more than I hate the food test, the questions are horrid. The below results are from 20/11/2020 and 19/05/2024, respectively:

This was a cute silly test I want to do it again but the page is no longer up sadly.
I’m a 5/6. What about you? Smash the like button and let me know down in the comments 😎.
